#GraphicallySpeaking_ is a photography and illustration collaboration between OSG and a curated group of visual artists, each working in a single monochromatic colour. Using their own portraits as a canvas, artists merge illustration and photography to reveal both their visual language and personal identity within one image.

The project began in 2014 with 12 Singapore-based artists and expanded in 2018 to include 15 Vancouver artists from diverse creative backgrounds. Each iteration explores portraiture as a collaborative, analogue process, inviting intimacy, honesty, and insight into the artist’s creative psyche.

At its core, #GraphicallySpeaking_ experiments with and expands traditional ideas of portraiture, bridging creative disciplines and fostering connection between artists. The project is envisioned as an ongoing, global series, evolving across cities and communities.
